  • YuJa Media Chooser – Enabling Trusted Content Privileges for Blackboard Role Types

    Overview

    If your institution receives reports that YuJa content inserted through the YuJa Media Chooser becomes “stripped” due to the Blackboard Learn Safe HTML policy, we have included some quick steps below to reset the correct privileges to ensure faculty can embed through the YuJa Media Chooser.
     

    Resetting the Add/Edit trusted content with scripts setting for Instructor/Leader

    1. Log into Blackboard as an Administrator, and select System Admin. .
    2. Under the Security section, select Privileges. .
    3. Under the list of privileges, find the Instructor/Leader role type, and click on the hyperlink. .
    4. On the next page, select the radio button to the left of Add/Edit trusted content with scripts. .
    5. Once selected, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the Privileges dropdown, and select Permit Privileges. .
    6. Once the setting saves, scroll to the bottom of the page again, and click OK in the bottom right. .
    7. Resetting the Add/Edit trusted content with scripts setting for Teaching Assistant/Assistant

      1. Log into Blackboard as an Administrator, and select System Admin. .
      2. Under the Security section, select Privileges. .
      3. Under the list of privileges, find the Teaching Assistant/Assistant role type, and click on the hyperlink. .
      4. Repeat the steps 4-6 from above. .
